Personal Interpretation by C.K.Simmons:

SCORPIO RISING (Water/Fixed Sign)

The Sign on the Ascendant reflects how the general public sees you, the first impression you make – but it may not be the personality that those closest to you know best. A Scorpio Ascendant gives you drive, energy and determination and deepens the expression of your Sun Sign characteristics. The Rising Sign and planets found in that house also indicate physical characteristics and those with Scorpio Rising are often noted for having an intense gaze and penetrating stare.

“Intense” is a key word for one with a Scorpio Ascendant. You appear reserved, secretive and quiet on first meeting. You have a sense of mystery about you, of knowing more than you are telling. Privacy is important to you – sharing your real feelings and thoughts with those not close to you would not happen often. However, you like to know what others are thinking and feeling – no mystery goes unsolved around you for long and you’re good at finding out answers.

You are very loyal to your friends and you have a long memory as to who those people are. Enemies are not forgotten either. This is a Rising Sign that either loves or hates, or likes or dislikes. No middle ground here. You have the ability to change the course of your life through sheer strength of will. You have a “do or die” attitude about things you feel should be accomplished in your life.

The main flaws of this Rising Sign are tendencies toward jealousy and possessiveness and a need for control. Sometimes you try make things happen through the sheer force of your will, which is formidable. While this often works, there are times when you must learn to relax after doing all that you can by putting it out of your mind and leaving the outcome up to fate - or God. When you are able to do this, you will find that the answers and the solutions to your problems arrive much easier and faster than when you constantly focus all your attention on your dilemma.

SUN IN SAGITTARIUS (Fire/Mutable Sign) (25 degrees – 2nd House)

The Sun Sign is the personality that those closest to you know. Sun in Sagittarius people are optimistic, cheerful, and friendly. They’re very active and cannot stand to be idle or confined – constant movement and action is their preference. Actually it’s necessary for their mental and physical health.

A sense of freedom is vital to a Sagittarian. A Sagittarian who feels caged is not pleasant to be around. When feeling constrained – physically, mentally, and/or emotionally - he becomes snappish, depressed and irritable. Whenever disheartened, a Sagittarian should start some form of vigorous exercise as this will help lift his negative mood.

Usually good athletes, they enjoy spending their naturally high energy levels by participating in sports or other forms of exercise. They enjoy friendly competition and have an interest in sports in general, either as a participant or as an observer.

Sagittarians are philosophers at heart and are interested in all kinds of subjects. They enjoy accumulating information and knowledge and discussing what they learn. This is the sign that rules higher education and Sagittarians are always learning even after leaving school.

Tact is a foreign concept to Sagittarians. They don’t intend to hurt the feelings of others, but they are bluntly honest and often say what they’re thinking without considering the consequences. (The instinct of Scorpio Rising to hold onto information and keep quiet will counterbalance this to an extent – as does Venus in the 1st House.) A Sagittarian will tell you that you look absolutely horrible if he really thinks so, but at least you know his compliments are never false flattery.

Sagittarians are very lucky – something always “turns up” at the last minute to save them. They are gamblers, in the sense that they are seldom averse to taking a risk, no matter what the odds. Like its fellow Fire Sign Leo, this is the sign of the Big Dreamer. Their impulsiveness usually works out well for them as their natural luck most likely comes through – even if it is in the nick of time - and it’s rare that they lose. They’re also very generous and if someone needs something, the Sagittarian is more than happy to give it to him even if it means he himself does without.

Unfortunately, especially early in life, a Sagittarian can be a bit too trusting. Until he learns a few harsh lessons about the duplicity in human nature, he often puts his trust in the wrong people and ends up betrayed. However, even though he eventually wises up and grows older, he never quite loses a basic innocence and almost childlike belief that everything will work out for the best and that everyone is basically good. This is a beneficial quality - once he learns to be a bit cautious - as this natural optimism and faith often attract happy outcomes and blessings into his life.

While very accepting and tolerant of others’ beliefs and behaviors, however outside the norm they may be, Sagittarians themselves are really traditionalists at heart. Conventional modes of behavior suit them best.

The Sun placed in the 2nd House gives an emphasis on the matters this house rules, such as material possessions, income, and assets. Financial success is important to one with this Sun/House placement, more for the security and the ability it gives to be generous than the things it buys.

The Sun in this house does indicate success in earning substantial sums of money but often what is earned goes out as quickly as it comes in. This is often because of excessive generosity. You desire to be self-sufficient in money matters and strive to be in a position where you are considered as such. Those in authority and power will give you great opportunities to achieve financial success as you grow older. Be sure to look for these chances and act on them when they arise.

MOON IN CANCER (Water/Cardinal Sign) (27 degrees – 9th House)

The Moon indicates how you express emotions and this Moon placement gives the ability to express them easily. In tune with the feelings of others, you are empathetic. However, be careful that the emotions of others do not become your own as you can be an emotional sponge. You could become depressed, for example, while trying to cheer a disheartened friend because you absorb his negative feelings. He may end up feeling better while you feel worse. You can also be easy prey for a sad story or someone who portrays himself as a victim because you are so softhearted that it’s easy for others to make you feel sorry for them.

Cancer Moon people are prone to mood swings and, if feeling threatened or depressed, will withdraw from family and friends until this passes. Brooding is not good for you and you should be careful not to indulge in it. You can be a worrier and this is bad for your health. You sometimes feel neglected and ignored by others when it’s not really the case. The best solution to this is to try and help others when you feel this way. Just be sure that those you try to assist are deserving of your help.

This Moon indicates a psychic, intuitive ability which should be developed, not repressed. Often you have precognitive dreams. You react from instinct first, later using logic and reason. Your first instinctual reactions are often helpful, however, and shouldn’t be totally discounted.

Those with this Moon are nurturing and compassionate and protective of loved ones. You are also very tenacious and can be stubborn. There is a desire to avoid attention but the limelight finds you regardless.

.        This Moon placement indicates that your mother is very important to you. Usually with this Moon Sign, the mother is highly regarded and revered. This Moon also gives a great love of children and an understanding of them. This is a good Moon sign for a teacher, for example.

The Moon in the 9th House gives a love of travel and an interest in foreign countries and other cultures. There is the ability to be a good educator.

MERCURY IN SAGITTARIUS (Fire/Mutable Sign) (5 degrees – 2nd House)

Mercury’s sign and placement indicates how your mental process works. This Mercury placement indicates you are easily distracted and have a short attention span. Often you are listening to your own inner voice which causes you to miss what is said by others right in front of you. Also you tend to see the “big picture” and miss little details because you are so far-sighted.

You have a tendency to be somewhat tactless when you speak. Mercury in this sign gives a great intellectual curiosity. Learning and sharing what you’ve learned will be a pleasure for you even when you are no longer in a formal educational setting.

Mercury placed in the 2nd House indicates you are a good speaker and writer. While you are very good at making money, it can go out as quickly as it comes in.

VENUS IN SCORPIO (Water/Fixed Sign) (11 degrees – 1st House)

The sign and placement of Venus indicates how you express love and conduct romance. Venus in Scorpio gives you an intense emotional life. Once again, as with Scorpio Rising, “intense” is the key word here. Love and its physical expression are elevated to a higher plane with this Venus placement, despite the reputation of the Sun Sign of Scorpio. At least that is the ideal of this Venus. They really aren’t satisfied with anything else although they may try to make do with something on a less elevated plane.

The main detriment with this Venus placement is a tendency to be possessive and jealous. However, on the positive side, those with Venus in Scorpio are loyal and committed partners. They don’t entrust their emotions to others easily but once they do, they are totally committed and loyal partners. A relationship for Venus is Scorpio is forever - unless he feels betrayed or abandoned in some way. Once that tie is truly severed, it can never be rekindled for the person with Venus in Scorpio, at least not with the depth and intensity of before.

Venus in the 1st House bestows Libran qualities, such as an artistic nature, love of beauty, talent in music and art and the gift of using tact and diplomacy to get one’s way. (This is a nice counterbalance to your Sagittarian Sun’s inclination to be tactless.) Sometimes you can be a bit selfish but you also like harmony in your relationships above all. Beware a desire to make peace at any costs - relationships are important to you and you may be tempted to do whatever necessary to keep others happy.

This gives a magnetic personality and bestows an attractive, pleasing appearance. Women with this placement are usually considered beautiful and the men, handsome. Even if their features do not conform to the conventional idea of beauty, this placement gives a charm and appeal to the appearance that draws others to them.

MARS IN SAGITTARIUS (Fire/Mutable Sign) (10 degrees – 2nd House)

Mars is the planet that determines how you express your energy and temper. Mars in this sign denotes athletic ability as does your Sagittarian Sun. In fact, this placement in the same sign as your Sun emphasizes the Sagittarian use of energy, such as through sports or other physical activity.

Religion is important to one with this Mars placement and indicates an ethical character. You are direct and open with others, although you do have a tendency to be argumentative and impulsive. You are a traveler and have an interest in going to foreign countries.

Mars in the 2nd House gives energy to the matters ruled by this house (possessions, material goods, etc.) You channel much of your energy into this area of life. Money comes in quickly but also goes out quickly – this is to teach you to concentrate on your talents and deemphasize the importance of money. However, this House placement of Mars indicates an ability to make money so you should never be without funds for long.

JUPITER IN SAGITTARIUS (Fire/Mutable Sign) (15 degrees – 2nd House)

Jupiter in this sign gives a love of travel, a desire for education and enjoyment in experiencing other cultures. Religion is important but there is also an interest in metaphysics. You are a deep thinker and enjoy discussing profound subjects.

Jupiter in the 2nd House bestows luck and success in financial matters and a talent for business. The areas of real estate, domestic products, fund raising, travel educational and other institutions are all good areas in which you can make money.

SATURN IN CAPRICORN (Earth/Cardinal Sign) (7 degrees – 3rd House)

Life is serious for one with Saturn in Capricorn. You are ambitious in the area of career and in business.

With Saturn in the 3rd House, you are a practical communicator. This gives you a natural ability in the areas of math, science, and electronics. You are a talented writer and are detail-oriented. You may have felt lonely and isolated within your family during your early life. (The 3rd House rules early childhood) You should be careful to keep your lungs in good shape as the part of the body ruled by the 3rd House is the lung area.

URANUS IN LEO (R) (Fire/Fixed Sign) (20 degrees – 10th House)

Uranus in Leo makes you creative and a leader. You are good at coming up with new concepts. Uranus in the 10th House gives some unpredictability to matters connected with this house (career, fame, reputation, power). For example, unexpected events will on occasion come out of the blue and change circumstances drastically in your career.

This would also indicate a certain need for freedom in the area of your profession. It would be ideal if you could work for yourself or in an environment where you felt autonomous.

NEPTUNE IN SCORPIO (Water/Fixed Sign) (8 degrees – 1st House)

This indicates you are very sensitive, almost mediumistic, and that you prefer to work in secret, although not necessarily for devious reasons. You just feel more comfortable and more secure under those circumstances. It’s also a good indication of inheritance at some point in your lifetime.

Neptune in the 1st House gives an ethereal, magnetic quality to the appearance, especially with the eyes. It also gives Piscean qualities to the personality, such as moodiness and a desire to escape problems. Beware resorting to alcohol, drugs or food in order to escape reality as those with Neptune in the 1st House - like those in the Sun Sign of Pisces - often find bad habits, once begun, are difficult to break. This placement gives you the more advantageous Pisces qualities too - such as highly developed talents in art and music. One with this Neptune placement often has unusual relationships in his life.

PLUTO IN VIRGO (R) (Earth/Mutable Sign) (6 degrees – 10th House)

Placed in the 10th House, this indicates a drive to succeed in politics and public work. There very well may be drastic changes in the types of career you pursue as you go throughout life.

General Chart:

PART ONE: THE INNER YOU

In Part One of the interpretations you will read two sections concerned with your individual traits.

The first section describes your ego (sun), emotional make-up (moon), learning and intellectual orientation (Mercury), relationships and sociability (Venus), and the expression and focus of your physical energy (Mars).

The second section describes how well you deal internally with the external situations that you experience in life. Your capacity for happiness (Jupiter), ability to tolerate restrictions and frustrations (Saturn), how you are associated with or relate to new or innovative ideas and methods, and radical ideas and events that upset the status quo (Uranus), how you are associated with or affected by public ideals, morality, and spirituality (Neptune), and how you are associated with or affected by public policies toward crime, toward the power of government and industry, and toward exploration, development, conservation and distribution of natural resources (Pluto).

SUN

The sun rules will power and ego. It is the core of your potential and uniqueness as an individual; who you are and what you are about. It represents the main direction and focus you want your life to take, and your determination to accomplish what you set out to do. It is your personal honesty and integrity, and the ability to command respect and authority, to impress and influence others.

SUN in SAGITTARIUS

As the ninth sign of the zodiac, Sagittarius represents the ninth stage in the evolution of man and his place in the universe. As Scorpio seeks to understand and control with emotional power, Sagittarius seeks to understand and control with knowledge. Most Sagittarians have an intellectual curiosity that covers a wide range of subjects. Never try to present Sagittarians with facts because they already have an unlimited supply which they gladly recite in rapid succession. They become bored and restless when surrounded by people or circumstances in which they have no interest. At such times, they find ways to disappear physically or mentally. They would rather learn things on their own through travel and experience than endure structured classroom environments and routine work assignments. However, given opportunities to broaden their knowledge and gain experience in the world on their own, they become excellent teachers and administrators in the very type of educational system they once found so restricting.

Sagittarians readily adapt to change. This trait is a strength because it is a survival mechanism, and a weakness because it makes them vulnerable to the demands and influence of other people. One of their greatest facilities for adapting to change is making home wherever they happen to be. The astrological symbols for Sagittarius are the hunter (archer) and the centaur, the mythical half man and half horse. They represent the Sagittarian search for collecting and disseminating truth and knowledge as well as their constant search for new ideas and new adventures. They are usually quite talkative and, as a rule, do not hesitate to give their honest opinions, a gesture which seems tactless at times though it is rarely their intention to be cruel. They have a ready wit and appreciate the humor even in grim situations.

Sagittarians react physically to everything they experience in life. Before they assess the practicality or worth of what they are doing, before they sort out their true emotions, and before they take time to reason things out intellectually, they have a tendency to shoot first and ask questions later. Communication-oriented Sagittarians are forever running around with energy and enthusiasm. They are independent and hard to pin down for long, and indeed, this is the sign of the bachelor. In one way or another even married Sagittarians seek to maintain some aspect of personal independence.

Jupiter, planet of bountiful fortunes and good luck, rules Sagittarians. As a rule, most of them have generous natures and friendly, optimistic personalities. Natural politicians, they are interested in knowing everyone and in going everywhere. For the true Sagittarian personality, life is something to be enjoyed every day. Addicted to all the good things in life, they know how to get maximum enjoyment from them. Unfortunately too much of a good thing can be ruinous, and prudence is a difficult trait for most Sagittarians to acquire. The philosophy that "more is better" describes their tendency for overdoing, a tendency that can result in some negative situations. Being overly spiritual or too philosophical, for example, they get too far out of touch with the real world. Making overblown efforts to be prudent in one area, they can still manage to bankrupt themselves by overindulging in other areas. Their attempt to be prudent can get so far out of line, that they turn into a miser.

Sagittarians are enthusiastic sportsmen. They enjoy physically challenging endeavors of all kinds. Archery, jogging, hang gliding, sailing, and fishing (especially for big sport fish such as sword fish or blue marlin) are favorite activities. One of the biggest challenges to overcome may be the battle of the bulge when their fondness for great quantities of food and drink finally catches up with them. They are natural gamblers and risk-takers, and usually have the good fortune to come out on the winning side of wagers, especially when they try their luck at horse or dog racing. They love music, art, dance, and drama (theater) and many of them have considerable talent in these areas.

Sagittarian colors are maroon, tan, navy, orange, and cobalt blue. Vulnerable parts of the body are the thighs, hips, and, to some extent, the feet. Their physical complaints are apt to be the result of unrestricted diets or an overly indulgent pursuit of other pleasures. The ancients associated the ruby with Sagittarius, while modern astrologers gives this sign the turquoise. The Sagittarian's highly adaptable, somewhat dual-natured personality can easily associate itself with both gems. Because Sagittarius is associated with bigness in general, flowers for this sign include the large blooms such as huge mums, hydrangeas, dahlias, and peonies.

MOON

The moon rules desire as opposed to ego, need as opposed to expediency or reason. It describes how you feel about yourself, how you handle relationships, and how you emotionally respond to situations and experiences. It describes the flow of your daily functions; physical, emotional, and mental. The moon represents your residence and domestic environment. It rules babies and young children, your mother and other important females in your life.

MOON in CANCER

Those born with the moon in a Water sign need to establish solid emotional commitments. Before considering the practicality of a situation, and before objectively examining the facts, they react emotionally. They are highly intuitive, though at times it is deceptively self-serving. As lunar Water sign personalities, those with moon in Cancer may have a certain awkwardness in their bearing and approach. Creative and sensitive, they are apt to have artistic talent or at least great appreciation for the arts. They are vulnerable to the influence of those with whom they spend the most time, making it hard to distinguish whether they are expressing their own opinions or merely reflecting those of someone else. They can be extremely passive when it comes to extricating themselves from unhappy emotional situations. They may even cling to such situations after they have managed to find happiness elsewhere. They hate to throw anything away. Lack of motivation can make them lazy, disorganized and sloppy.

Cancerian moon personalities are dedicated to getting their own way and accomplishing personal goals. They can be quite shy when initially confronted with unfamiliar situations and when meeting total strangers. Once they feel comfortable, they become more outgoing and even aggressive. Their nurturing nature makes them hospitable, compassionate, and philanthropic. Strong identification with the concept of family makes them treat everyone as part of the family. They often use this kind of approach as a successful ploy in getting others to cooperate. As babies they tend to be finicky eaters or develop food allergies. As adults they have an unfortunate tendency to use food as an emotional pacifier.

Vulnerable, possessive, emotionally dependent, and demanding the women with moon Cancer are at the mercy of their conflicting feelings. Emotionally they are their own worst enemy. They are highly intuitive and creative once they learn to control their emotional tidal waves. Men with Cancer moon have a streak of domesticity, the potential of which includes gardening, cooking, or concern with household furnishings. It is often hard for them to act with sustained aggressiveness in emotional situations.

MERCURY

Mercury indicates mental outlook, intellectual endeavors, the way you think and communicate. It represents ideas, methods, and information. It rules your hands and thus your manual dexterity and mechanical skills. Mercury also describes transportation; that is, how you get where you're going physically and mentally. Do you speed with all possible haste or amble along taking a few detours here and there?

MERCURY in SAGITTARIUS

Those with natal Mercury in Sagittarius have enthusiastic, adaptable intellects. Their interests are varied and they quickly learn what they want to know. If they don't have a natural inclination for a subject, or even for school in general, it is difficult for them to stay very long in the confining routine of formal education. Many of these individuals possess considerable gifts for mimicry and oratory. Very independent in their ideas and opinions, they learn best by traveling and circulating in various groups and in different places. When communicating opinions and ideas, they have a tendency to be very direct, sometimes to the point of what others consider tactless. They may be very spiritually oriented, and have a great fondness for art or politics. When it comes to learning and transportation, they can be found rushing from place to place, but they are also capable of ambling along, taking every interesting detour that catches their fancy.

VENUS

Venus rules your social attitudes and behavior, and your aesthetic tastes and inclinations. It is female relationships and social interactions at every level. Venus indicates your values. It describes romance, marriage and other partnerships, capacity for humor, and the pursuit of pleasure.

VENUS in SCORPIO

Social attitudes and behavior of individuals with natal Venus in Scorpio are strongly influenced by their emotional needs. They are not usually shy and, in fact, many of them are quite gregarious. How much attention they seek for themselves is determined by other factors. They have a strong, passionate nature that they must control if they wish to avoid being possessive, obsessive, or jealous. Even those who seem outwardly easy-going will consciously or subconsciously seek to control relationships. They are not ones to mince words or engage in idle flattery. Many of their interactions with others, even fleeting or superficial contacts, are apt to be tinged with a certain intensity. Social instincts can be remarkably keen, and their actions in this regard are direct and purposeful though not always obvious or open.

MARS

Mars rules physical energy and efforts. It describes the strength and direction of the physical force that drives your ego, fires your emotions, and encourages your mental endeavors and communicative skills. It describes male relationships and associations, risk-taking inclinations, and the physical challenges you are likely to encounter.

MARS in SAGITTARIUS

The actions of individuals with natal Mars in Sagittarius are enthusiastic and inspired. Spurred on by the excitement of a given moment, they act quickly and decisively. However, they can quickly lose interest and head off in a different direction, leaving others to finish their work. Their intellectual curiosity is easily aroused, and they enjoy absorbing, collecting, and sharing all types of information. They need to develop patience and organization or the facts that they accumulate become disconnected and they end up repeating themselves. They are apt to have mechanical or artistic skills and the ability to mimic. They are gifted actors, sales persons, clerics, writers, teachers and musicians. They accomplish more if given a certain amount of latitude and independence in which to perform their tasks.

JUPITER

Jupiter rules your potential for growth and expansion on many levels; physical, intellectual, spiritual, cultural, and the accumulation of material assets, power, and status. It describes your optimism and aspirations. It represents your father and his position in society.

JUPITER in SAGITTARIUS

Individuals with natal Jupiter in Sagittarius gain personal growth and expansion through travel, education, and communication. They enthusiastically participate in a wide variety of activities for business as well as pleasure. There is great generosity of spirit and attitude. However, if circumstances in their background or development force them to turn inward, they are capable of going to the opposite extreme, becoming miserly and withdrawn. The optimism of Jupiter indicates willingness to take risks, and it often includes the luck to come out ahead when they do take a chance.

SATURN

Saturn rules responsibilities, restrictions and limitations you are apt to encounter, and the lessons you must learn in life. It does not deny or diminish imagination, inspiration, spirituality, and good fortune but it does demand that these things be given structure and meaning.

SATURN in CAPRICORN

Saturn rules Capricorn. For those individuals born with Saturn in its own sign, it usually means purposeful structure and goals must be interjected in almost every phase of life. They are apt to develop a high regard for tradition, and the institutions and associations that make up the foundations of society. Their work or avocation often involves getting rid of, or making changes in situations that have grown weak through neglect, become superfluous, or that no longer fulfill their original purpose.

URANUS

Uranus rules personal as well as societal freedom. It indicates originality of thought and expression. In society it rules radical ideas and people as well as revolutionary events that upset established structures. Uranus takes approximately seven years to transit one sign, taking about 84 years to complete all twelve signs. Since groups of people with Uranus in the same sign are separated by 84 years, the influence of this planet in a sign is generational. The personal implications of Uranus in your life are described by its house position and the aspects it makes with other planets in your natal chart. It describes areas of unpredictability, and where you or your life style may be different than those around you. It relates to the unusual or unique. Friends and associations to which you belong are also indicated, as is your potential involvement with science and technology, computers, and the media.

URANUS in LEO

The generation of individuals born with natal Uranus in Leo are likely to be involved in the creative arts. They introduce their ideas with innovative flair and great boldness in defiance of traditional concepts. Leo is also associated with scientific research and humanitarian gestures, so these individuals may also be expected to attack old problems with new energy, ideas and methods.

NEPTUNE

Neptune rules those who are oppressed or abandoned; the misfits of society. On a higher level it rules visionaries, and those who are glamorous and charismatic. It represents spirituality, mysticism, and ideals. Neptune is in one sign for approximately thirteen years, taking about 164 years to complete its cycle through all twelve signs. Since 164 years separate people born during its transit of one sign and those born when it returns, Neptune's significance in any sign is described as generational or historical. On a personal level, Neptune's house position and the aspects it makes with other planets in your natal chart will describe spirituality, abstract thinking, illusion, disillusionment, and other areas of your life where things aren't always what they seem. It rules derangement, guilt, persecution, and describes the potential for experiences related to confinement, abandonment, and addiction or physical intolerance to drugs.

NEPTUNE in SCORPIO

The latest period of Neptune in Scorpio was 1955-1970 and the influence of Neptune in Scorpio had observable impact. Sexual codes (Scorpio) prior to the 60's dissolved (a Neptunian influence). Sexually explicit material invaded the media and everyday life. Drugs and creation of a counter-culture eroded the family and traditional values (Neptune). Spying and secret surveillance (Scorpio) in public and private life were evident in fact and fiction.

PLUTO

Pluto takes approximately 248 years to make one cycle through all twelve signs. The period Pluto spends in each sign can vary from twelve years to thirty two years due to the eccentricity of its orbit. Like atomic energy (a force ruled by Pluto), the presence and direction of Pluto's energy are never obvious until it is used. Pluto’s influence in any sign is interpreted as generational or historical. In your personal life, Pluto's significance is interpreted from its house position and the aspects it makes to other natal planets in your horoscope. Pluto rules intense energy, and describes the areas in which you consciously or subconsciously seek to exercise power or control. Pluto is also linked to your karmic responsibility, and in this respect, it describes the areas where you must gain the deepest level of understanding.

PLUTO in VIRGO

Pluto's last period in Virgo was 1957-1971. Virgo rules health, practical applications of science and technology, and the work force. During the recent Pluto transit in Virgo, the general state of America's health and welfare underwent unprecedented changes, computers came of age, and the once powerful unions experienced great loss of influence.

PART TWO: THE OUTER YOU

In Part Two you will read about the twelve houses of the horoscope. The houses represent areas of life in which you operate on a daily basis. You will read descriptions of how you handle the circumstances you encounter in each of these areas, according to your nature, personality and other traits as they are outlined in Part One.

HOUSE 1

The first house and the sign that rules the first house, which is also known as the Ascendant or Rising sign, describes your outer personality and physical attributes. To some extent it also describes your health and the type of illnesses you may experience.

SCORPIO ASCENDANT

A Scorpio Ascendant indicates individuals who are likely to have strong physiques and tremendous physical stamina. They are often far more stubborn than they seem on the surface, and assiduously stick to their goals as long as they feel there is a chance they will be successful. It is difficult to convince them to change their minds once their decisions are made.

They are emotionally oriented, but their emotional vulnerability is apt to be hidden unless their natal sun or moon happens to be in Cancer or Pisces. They are are friendly and while some are rather quiet, many of them also have far more gregarious personalities and don't mind being in the spotlight. Rarely do these individuals possess the sinister or mysterious personalities that popular literature tends to associate with the sign of Scorpio. They are keen observers and shrewd speculators.

Scorpio is ruled by Pluto and, secondarily, by this sign's ancient ruler, the planet Mars. Both planetary influences may be seen in the personalities of these individuals. They are ambitious, energetic, and seek activities that are economically rewarding, as well as mentally or physically challenging. The jealousy associated with Mars and Pluto is minimal unless other factors in their individual personalities support such a trait. Many of them possess the cleverness and mechanical ability associated with Mars, as well as the innate resourcefulness associated with Pluto. They are attracted to others with strong, magnetic personalities. They are oriented toward gathering resources of all kinds. For example, many of these individuals consciously or subconsciously tend to establish relationships with strong or powerful people in the belief such contacts may prove useful to them in some way. They can be quite secretive about personal affairs, a trait that often escapes the attention of most people they meet. They are often so accommodating and pleasant that, unless others make serious attempts to probe beneath their surface, their real personalities and activities stay hidden indefinitely.

They have remarkable recuperative powers that allow them to recover from physical, mental or economic adversities that would destroy many others. When properly focused, their energy is formidable and they quietly keep going long after everyone else runs out of steam. A Scorpio Ascendant indicates potential for afflictions to the head and face as well as illnesses affecting the reproductive organs.

VENUS in 1st HOUSE

Venus in the first house suggests those with much personal charm and, in most cases, physical attractiveness as well. Though some of them may at times be avant garde as a social statement of sorts, they rarely go to extremes in either their looks or personality. Their features, especially facial features, are evenly balanced. Even if they are not beautiful, their charming personality and mannerisms enhance their physical appearance. They enjoy dressing well, and use cosmetics and other beauty aids with desirable results. The negative potential associated with Venus includes those who may be rude or anti-social. It can also mean either those with total disregard for anything other than their appearance, or those with a completely uncaring attitude about how they look or behave.

VENUS conjunct NEPTUNE

Venus conjunct Neptune implies deception and abandonment in romance. Though infidelity is possible, deception can also occur through false idealism. These individuals may have romantic involvement with those in the navy or maritime projects, dancers, photography, medicine, members of a minority. There is implication of artistic talent and creative imagination. They are sensitive and many of them possess remarkable intuition, except perhaps where their own romances are involved. They enjoy creating an aura of mystery and romance.

NEPTUNE in 1st HOUSE

Neptune in the first house indicates those with very little understanding of how their personality, looks, and behavior affects others. Neptune in the first house may add an element of glamor or mystery to their personality and/or appearance, but this is not certain. They may, for example, photograph so well that they look much better on film than in reality, or their likeness on film is so poor that they hate to be photographed. Neptune's influence includes those who are prone to anxiety, especially about their health or appearance. Self-control, never an easy task for these individuals, is extremely important to develop if they wish to avoid hypochondria, addiction to habit-forming substances, or any of the emotional and physical ills that befall those who lack self discipline. Consciously or subconsciously they give an impression of such vulnerability that others instinctively want to protect them, sometimes going to great lengths to avoid hurting their feelings. They harbor feelings of abandonment. No matter how many people surround them, they tend to feel left behind or unwanted. They have a tendency to use guilt as a weapon for eliciting the affections and cooperation of others, but they are also apt to be the victims of others who use the same ploy. In spite of their apparent sensitivity, these individuals are definitely survivors. They possess enormous strength that can take others by surprise. The positive potential of Neptune includes those who are very compassionate toward others. They may also be very spiritual, able to clearly see and appreciate the beauty of the soul. Whether or not it takes the form of spirituality, these individuals can inspire others to a remarkable degree. There is danger, however, that they will insist others accept their ideals.

NEPTUNE sextile PLUTO

Neptune sextile Pluto is an aspect of extremely long duration. The current sextile between these two planets has been affecting generations for the last forty years. This long term Neptune aspect influences on society represents constant opportunities to change the course of existing structures and pave the way for new ones. Those who will live under the influence of the other aspects (i. e. , conjunction, square, trine, and opposition) as they occur between these planets in the future will have to deal with the ideologies and other societal institutions that we have had the opportunities to create.

HOUSE 2

The second house describes material assets, how you handle monetary income, and the potential ways it may be earned. It also indicates the values and priorities you establish throughout life.

SCORPIO on 2nd HOUSE

Scorpio ruling the second house indicates intense desires. These individuals may, for example, focus so intensely on attaining some goal that almost everything and everyone else becomes meaningless. They are likely to find it difficult, if not impossible, to give up one thing to attain another. Learning to control and handle money is one of their biggest lessons. Those who hoard it, must learn to spend it. Those who tend to be reckless spenders have to either give up control of their assets to someone who will handle it for them, or even better, learn to do it themselves. There is a potential for complete regeneration of their financial status. In fact there may be many new beginnings when it comes to assets, values, and priorities. They experience definite periods when they feel the need to reject certain values or priorities and, as a result, set about making a complete new slate. Whether or not they succeed at starting over again depends on other factors in their personalities and background. It is more likely they will leave inheritances than be the recipients of such benefactions, although there is potential their marriage partners will gain through inheritance.

SUN in 2nd HOUSE

Sun in the second house indicates those whose personal identification in life is invariably tied to their material wealth, and just as important, to the prominence of their personal achievements and status. Sun in the second house is not a totally selfish influence. The goals of these individuals often benefit others as well as themselves, as in the case of those who seek to gain public recognition through charitable and philanthropic endeavors. How these individuals handle what they gain or lose, or even if they succeed in getting what they want, is determined by their ego. Goals they seek, priorities they establish, and values they embrace all tend to be what they want, not what is dictated by others.

SUN conjunct JUPITER

These individuals have generous natures, with enormous capacity for enjoying life and wanting the very best of everything. Whether or not they pursue a formal education, their intellectual curiosity compels them to want to know everything and gives them a healthy respect for knowledge. Negative associations of this conjunction lead in opposite directions; ruined health and finances caused by constant overestimation and overindulgence, or, miserable miserliness inspired by exaggerated self- denial. On the positive side these individuals are true spiritual leaders, gifted actors, mimics, inspired teachers, writers, and artists.

SUN trine URANUS

Sun trine Uranus indicates those likely to be flexible or at least able to adopt a different point of view to see if ideas other than their own will work. Though their reactions can sometimes be unpredictable, they rarely adopt totally negative attitudes, and are willing to accept almost any possibility. They are apt to be egalitarian in their attitudes toward society, interested in and accepting of all people, regardless of their backgrounds, race, and culture.

MERCURY in 2nd HOUSE

Mercury in the second house indicates those who seek to benefit in some tangible way from their mechanical skills or their ideas and information. As a result they earn income through communication, sales, education, writing, publishing, the design, installation and repair of machinery, travel, or transportation. They are adept at picking up on the priorities and value systems of others. Being able to know what others think is important can be a valuable asset. It makes them successful opportunists, though it does not necessarily imply they are manipulators or exploiters. Understanding and being able to make practical use of networks of all kinds is often their most valuable asset. Mercury's influence in the second house can mean they want (or are forced) to deal with the paper work involved with income and money. This includes those who cut out coupons from newspapers to those who handle financial transactions, loans, investments, bank books and other paperwork for their family; or work as bookkeepers, bank tellers or loan officers.

MERCURY conjunct MARS

Whatever the depth of their intellects, those with Mercury conjunct Mars are sure to be strong and active in promoting their thoughts. They very much want to put ideas into action, and have little patience if they have to deal too much with mere theory. They are often physically active as well as mentally alert, always running here and there on one errand or another. They are likely to possess above average mechanical or technical skills.

MERCURY square PLUTO

Mercury square Pluto indicates those who want to succeed, and success they do attain is likely to result from frustrations they encounter. Their intellectual perceptions are keenly analytical. They know how to go about doing things, and if laziness or some other factor does not interfere, they get what they want. They enjoy knowing how things work, especially the psychology of human behavior.

MARS in 2nd HOUSE

Mars in the second house indicates those who exert more energy and enthusiasm in what they do to earn money than in the actual pursuit of money for its own sake. They are apt to be more enthusiastic spenders than savers. If they do develop the love of wealth for its own sake, they can become so passionately dedicated to the accumulation of money, they never stop to spend it or enjoy any of the advantages it can provide. The influence of Mars in the second house suggests that assets may come through men or a particular male influence. Income for these individuals may also be derived through Mars-ruled enterprises such as manufacturing, sports, armed forces, fire fighting, and physical labor rather than mental endeavors. Mars represents animated life. Whether or not they are conscious of it, these individuals value energy and vitality as desirable assets and are attracted to these qualities in others. Unless others factors in their personality subdue the restless influence of Mars, they find it difficult to enjoy doing absolutely nothing. They want to spend their energies as easily as they spend their money.

MARS conjunct JUPITER

Mars conjunct Jupiter indicates those with much energy and enthusiasm in their natures. Depending on the other factors in their personalities and backgrounds, their enthusiasm may be directed to increase their own importance or turned to philanthropic endeavors or perhaps both. Overestimation and impatience are problems, but the intelligence and grandness of spirit they often exhibit is very inspiring. Publishing, promotion, and cultural pursuits are major attractions.

MARS square PLUTO

The strength of will power, emotional intensity, and physical stamina of those with Mars square Pluto are usually enough to get them out in front. What may cause them to fall behind again, however, is being too aggressive or threatening. They are apt to have incisive minds, and know exactly what they want and how to get it. For their own growth as individuals they learn to avoid giving in to revenge, jealousy and possessiveness.

JUPITER in 2nd HOUSE

Jupiter in the second house indicates those who like to succeed on their own. Whether or not they actually succeed is not indicated solely by Jupiter’s position in the second house. These individuals value independence, especially in monetary matters, and, if not discouraged by negative factors in their personality or background, they thrive on the challenge of making their own money. Negative factors can include those who marry for money, and individuals who either acquire money and property through dishonest means, or become victims of those who do. The influence of Jupiter in the second house suggests opportunity to travel or trade in foreign goods and services as a means of livelihood. Other possible sources of income include consulting, publishing, theater, sports, education, or religion. Jupiter in the second house does not always indicate wealth or luck in monetary matters, but it invariably means generosity and the potential for spending money lavishly and wasting other material and non-material resources. They value knowledge even though they may not be scholars. Jupiter also implies they may receive financial help in attaining education and/or may be the ones to aid others in this respect.

JUPITER trine URANUS

Jupiter trine Uranus implies a generation that is fortunately affected in the sense that societal conditions afford them technology to make life easier. There may be a new order of thinking that destroys societal prejudice and various other institutional structures that might in the past have hindered their progress as member of a generation and consequently as individuals.

HOUSE 3

The third house describes your mental state, intellectual orientation, self-expression and communication, early education, mechanical dexterity and skills, immediate environment (neighborhood), and siblings. It indicates physical actions, and transportation, especially within your immediate environment. To a certain extent the third house also describes the job or health of your father.

CAPRICORN on 3rd HOUSE

Capricorn ruling the third house indicates individuals whose learning processes or communicative skills may be limited or frustrated, or their education is limited. It implies the possibility of lack of imagination, reluctance of verbal expression, learning disabilities, and sight, hearing, or speech impediments. These individuals may view educational tasks as unpleasant or tedious, but later in life they may be more receptive, even eager, to learn and to communicate their thoughts and ideas. Another area influenced by Capricorn on the third house involves relationships with siblings. It can mean, for example, a great age difference between these individuals and their siblings and the relationships are necessarily limited by the generation gap, or it can mean they may have responsibility for a sibling. Another common occurrence under Capricorn's influence is an extremely close relationship with a sibling that fosters too much dependence in one or both of them. Relationships with neighbors may be restricted. The positive side of Capricorn’s influence implies long and stable relationships with neighbors and siblings, as well as talent and organizational ability in dealing with ideas and information.

SATURN in 3rd HOUSE

For individuals with Saturn in the third house, the biggest lessons in life involve thinking, learning, communication, and the development or use of basic skills. Circumstances may prevent or greatly restrict their early education, or they may simply be uninterested students. Later in life, however, they are more receptive, even eager to learn and to communicate their thoughts and ideas. The negative potential of Saturn includes those with learning disabilities and sight, hearing, or speech impediments. It also suggests those who suffer from depression, or are overly cautious and pessimistic. Other areas of concern involve siblings, and there are several possibilities regarding them. These individuals may be deprived of such relationships by being an only child. A generation gap can limit contacts or understanding with much older siblings. They may have to assume responsibility for younger brothers and sisters. Relationships with neighbors and schoolmates can be stable and long-lasting, but loss of privacy or other burdens can sometimes complicate these associations. Travel may be restricted, or accommodations while traveling may be austere. Cars and other vehicles these individuals own may be few in number, and unlikely to be luxurious or impractical. Their vehicles may, however, give them many years of dependable service. Saturn suggests those with a stable, practical (if unimaginative) mind. They are able to present well-organized and structured ideas and information, and to develop and make good use of their skills. They can be the soul of authority, reliability, and strength to their family and neighbors.

SATURN sextile NEPTUNE

Saturn sextile Neptune is a generational aspect that implies opportunities in society for introducing a new stage of religious thinking, a willingness to investigate the occult and other supernatural phenomena from a scientific point of view, or finding new uses for drugs and medicines already on the market.

SATURN trine PLUTO

Saturn trine Pluto is a generational planetary influence that seems to favor a more equitable distribution of power, resources, and monetary assets among members of society and even among nations. Individuals born in this generation may or may not personally participate in the larger societal issues of redistribution, but they may have the good fortune to be well endowed with personal resources of all kinds.

HOUSE 4

The fourth house describes your residence, domestic environment, and family members, especially your mother. It indicates the beginning as well as the end of various cycles in your life.

AQUARIUS on 4th HOUSE

Aquarius ruling the fourth house indicates the likelihood of unpredictable or unusual situations regarding childhood, a parent, and adult home life. These individuals are apt to live a very different lifestyle or in a different place or area than the one in which they were brought up. This may be a deliberate choice, but it can also be the result of circumstances beyond their control. They are apt to spend a certain period of time living under abnormal or unusual conditions. They tend to favor unusual designs and architecture and many of them enjoy building their own homes. Inside their houses their preferences are either antiques and an assortment of odd or interesting furnishings and designs, or very contemporary, futuristic styles. In many cases they enjoy mixing the very old with the very new in unusual eclectic arrangements. Everyone is welcomed into their homes as a friend, and their residences are apt to be favorite gathering places for groups and organizations to which they belong.

HOUSE 5

The fifth house describes your creative talent and imaginative powers, capacity for enjoyment and the pursuit of pleasure, romance, children, and speculative ventures.

PISCES on the 5th HOUSE

Pisces ruling the fifth house indicates the likelihood of secret romance. Other possibilities include individuals who indulge in, or are victims of romantic deception. They may become romantically involved with someone of a minority group, or who is disabled, addicted to drugs or alcohol, or works in medicine, the navy, maritime industries, or areas that involve the feet which means anything from being a dancer to working in a shoe store. It is also possible that their children (or lovers) may have remarkable artistic talent. They may suffer the loss of children, or have to assume responsibility for the adoption or care of children. There is danger of deception and loss in speculative ventures. Though it is also possible, if supported by other factors in their personalities and backgrounds, that they can develop valuable intuition in this area. If this is the case, they may be very lucky gamblers, but should never take their good fortune for granted. Vacations should be spent on ocean cruises or at least near water, especially the ocean.

HOUSE 6

The sixth house describes your job, daily responsibilities (paid and unpaid), and those who work for or with you. It also represents your health, and physical fitness.

ARIES on 6th HOUSE

Aries ruling the sixth house indicates individuals who concentrate much energy and vitality in their job or daily responsibilities. They may also be inclined to pursue health and physical fitness programs, sports, or animal husbandry. They are likely to have mechanical skills, which makes many of them inventors, surgeons, tailors, machinists, engineers, or builders of one sort or another. Those who possess managerial skills are tireless administrators who know how to extract maximum efficiency from their staffs. Preferring an active working environment, there is also the strong possibility they will deliberately choose a job associated with an element of risk, or work for a security force or branch of the armed services. Working for, or running a company involved in manufacture or sale of weapons, knives, explosive materials, or fire fighting equipment is also well within the potential occupations of those with a sixth house Aries influence. They are prone to high blood pressure, rashes, fever, headaches, or stress-related ailments.

HOUSE 7

The seventh house relates to marriage and partnership or joint ventures of any kind. It describes how you interact with people and how others tend to regard you. The seventh house is associated with legal matters, negotiations, contracts, and all open confrontations, pleasant as well as adversarial.

TAURUS on 7th HOUSE

Taurus ruling the seventh house indicates individuals who are apt to be outgoing and people-oriented. Without constant exposure to others they can become withdrawn and unmotivated because they depend on such interactions for inspiration and feedback. They may prefer doing most things in partnership, and their success in life is often a direct result of their cooperation with or through the influence of other people. The influence of Taurus implies a strong element of trust in their association with others, and that they derive much pleasure and enjoyment from marriage. It also indicates that marriage, business partnerships, and relations with others in general, should be fairly stable and enduring. The negative potential for Taurus on the seventh house indicates individuals who have difficulty finding the right partner, as well as those who possess antisocial attitudes or engender such feelings in others. The influence of Taurus on the seventh house implies individuals who want to use whatever people skills they possess in a practical way. As a result, many of them become lawyers, contract negotiators, agents or counselors.

HOUSE 8

The eighth house is related to taxes, debt, death, legacies, and the income you receive through marriage or business partner(s). It describes your resourcefulness, and your ability to develop and use material assets as well as personal skills and abilities. The eighth house also indicates sexual attitudes and behavior.

TAURUS on 8th HOUSE

Taurus ruling the eighth house indicates individuals who are apt to need a direct reason for attempting small talk, a skill in which they may have limited ability and even less patience. When they want something or someone, they will apply persistent pressure and great will power to succeed. An eighth house Taurus influence indicates the possibility of jealousy and possessiveness when it involves sex and romance. They may be very concerned with conservation of all resources, which includes personal finances, joint income or corporate funds. There is also the potential for experiencing financial gain through their marriage or business partnerships. Negative potential for Taurus on the eighth house includes individuals who may deliberately marry for financial gain and increased social status. There is also an implication of financial loss or loss of social status through marriage, sexually related disease, or neurotic social tendencies. Taurus on the eight house implies individuals who may be remarkably adept at research and those who inherit monetary assets and/or artistic abilities.

HOUSE 9

The ninth house describes higher education, advanced training, publishing, publicity, advertising, politics, foreign travel, foreign studies, religious and philosophical views and activities, and cultural pursuits. It relates to court decisions, a second marriage, and in-laws. To a certain extent the ninth house also describes the job or health of your mother.

CANCER on 9th HOUSE

Cancer ruling the ninth house indicates strong emotional identification with higher learning whether or not they get a degree, with cultural pursuits whether or not they have special talent, with publishing whether or not they are writers, with travel whether or not they go anywhere, with religion whether or not they are religious, or with politics whether or not they ever run for public office. The emotional identification they develop is also likely to leave them vulnerable not only to the influence of others but to extremes in thinking and behavior with regard to these areas. Cancer's influence presents the possibility they will reside near a university, church, theater, or museum, or become educated in a foreign country. It also suggests their mothers may be of foreign birth or of a different race or culture than their fathers.

MOON in 9th HOUSE

Moon in the ninth house indicates those who tend to idealize relationships, which can mean they are very romantic but sometimes not very realistic. Many are adept at foreign languages, promotion, and public relations. The strongest potential of ninth-house moon is emotional identification with higher learning whether or not they obtain degrees, with cultural pursuits whether or not they have artistic talent, with publishing whether or not they are writers, with travel whether or not they go anywhere, with religion whether or not they are religious, or with politics whether or not they run for public office. Their residence may be connected with a church, university, or in a foreign country. They may marry a foreigner, or their mother is from a foreign country or of a different race than the father.

HOUSE 10

The tenth house describes your career and other long-range goals, public reputation, superiors and those in authority. It also relates to your father and his influence in your life.

LEO on 10th HOUSE

Leo ruling the tenth house indicates those with strong egos that must find expression in some public manner. There is potential that the father plays a pivotal role in shaping their destinies. They may, for example, be given special strength or assistance from this parent. Even in the case of loss or absence of the father, it does not have to be a negative factor since it can also have the effect of making them stronger and able to push forward. Other possibilities include the fact that they may have responsibility for their fathers or bear a close physical resemblance to him. The potential of Leo's influence suggests that they will seek to attain positions of great honor or authority, or lead public lives as actors, politicians, lecturers, and spokespersons. They may work for themselves or occupy an elevated position in the company that employs them. Many of these individuals find it difficult to remain content solely with home and family. Even those who lovingly (and efficiently) manage family responsibilities will also seek to accomplish their personal goals.

URANUS in 10th HOUSE

Uranus in the tenth house indicates those who may unexpectedly attract public attention. Noteworthy activities that bring these individuals into the spotlight are likely to be connected with some impact they make on society, which can mean anything from criminal acts to humanitarian projects. These individuals may also have unusual or unorthodox supervisors. One of the strongest implications of Uranus in the tenth house is that at some point, usually after they have embarked on a particular career or life style, they are apt to go off in a completely different direction. Even if they do not initiate such a switch, some momentous circumstance over which they have no control can turn their life around. The influence of Uranus also implies that their career or activities may be unorthodox, dealing with an unusual subject or requiring unusual skills. Those who follow a more traditional career are usually attracted to medicine, music, communication, teaching, social work, computers, or the media. These individuals may suddenly or unexpectedly be separated from their father, or he may be unusual or unorthodox in some way. They rebel against authority and restrictions. When it suits their long-range purpose, however, they happily embrace more traditional ideas and methods.

PLUTO in 10th HOUSE

Pluto in the tenth house indicates those who want to control their own destiny and as a result, are reluctant to allow anyone to assume power or influence over their decisions or the directions they take. It must be added however, that they may not develop this desire until later in life. If, for one reason or another, they do not develop control over their own life, it is likely to become a significant impediment to their ultimate growth and maturity. Other Pluto potentials include those who focus intense energy in pursuing a career or other long-range goals. Whether or not they gain power and status themselves, they seem able to attract the attention and association of those who do. By choice or circumstance there may be secrecy and hidden control or manipulation related to a parent (usually the father), their career, or the amount of public influence these individuals possess.

HOUSE 11

The eleventh house rules friendships, organizations to which you belong, and income derived from self-employment or career (as opposed to wages earned from a job). It relates to the role you play in the lives of others as child, parent, lover, spouse, friend, social or business associate. The eleventh house also describes your hopes and aspirations and capacity for happiness.

VIRGO on 11th HOUSE

Virgo ruling the eleventh house indicates those who use friends and acquaintances as sounding boards and inspiration for their thoughts and ideas. They are also apt to be involved in fraternal associations and societies, playing active roles by holding office or serving on various committees. They are the ones likely to write or publish the newsletters or official communications of the organizations to which they belong. Their friends are apt to include those who are in the field of health and social services, as well as teachers, secretaries, clerks, writers, artists, designers, and those who are mechanically inclined. They will have more acquaintances than close friends, which may or may not have to do with the fact that many of their contacts are based on mental rapport or for practical purposes rather than emotional commitments. The negative potential of Virgo’s eleventh-house influence includes the possibility of being too critical of friends, being taken advantage of by friends, antisocial attitudes, and that they are too eccentric in their ideas or communication. The positive side of Virgo’s influence is the willingness to accept responsibility for friends.

HOUSE 12

The twelfth house describes the private and hidden side of life; your subconscious mind, dreams, the past, and those who wish you harm or work against your interests. The twelfth house relates to sorrow, disappointment, loss, solitude or confinement, hidden fears and worry. It also has connection with the job or health of your marriage or business partner.

LIBRA on 12th HOUSE

Libra ruling the twelfth house indicates individuals who can be extremely sensitive when it comes to relationships. This includes not just their own feelings but how they perceive or understand the feelings of others. They may, for example, have uncanny instincts concerning the subtle aspects of handling relationships that may not be obvious even to those with whom they share such relationships. The negative potential can mean disappointment or sorrow connected with relationships, and partnerships in particular. A lack of-self confidence can mean the tendency to like or even fall in love with anyone who pays them the slightest attention. Relationships can become a trap in other ways. They may become victims of those who threaten "suicide or worse", or, the reverse can also be true and they are the ones to use this destructive ploy in order to hold on to those who threaten to abandon them. The positive side of this influence is the possibility of artistic and musical talent. Their marriage partners may be employed in areas that involve the law, art, music, or the fashion or beauty industry.
